Start With the Requirement.

Standard Basis is developing a brokerage for AI inference procurement. The starting point is a buyer’s workload and commercial requirements—not mastery of a new financial unit.

For AI buyers

A clearer way
to compare supply.

Bring an upcoming requirement or a recurring procurement problem. The proposed process translates it into a standardized request and compares provider offers on a common economic basis.

  • Workload and model requirements
  • Expected consumption and timing
  • Location, performance, and flexibility
  • Current procurement constraints
Discuss a buyer requirement
For providers

A structured way
to present supply.

Discuss the qualifying services and capacity you could offer. The proposed process gives providers a consistent request to quote while preserving their delivery conditions.

  • Models and services offered
  • Available regions and capacity
  • Pricing and commitment terms
  • Service attributes and delivery limits

From Requirement
to Comparable Offers.

The common reference supports the transaction. It does not erase differences between providers or substitute for the buyer’s own assessment of value.

01

Specify

Capture the workload, volume, timing, region, and service requirements.

02

Standardize

Prepare a comparable request and identify the relevant CCBT basis.

03

Compare

Solicit provider quotes and show prices alongside their material conditions.

04

Structure

Help counterparties agree commercial terms, delivery, and administration.

Calculation. Blended price = 0.8 × input price + 0.2 × output price. Relative price = blended price ÷ $1.20. This mix is an example assumption, not an adopted CCBT pricing convention.

What remains separate. Service quality, latency, minimum volumes, additional charges, eligibility, credit, and delivery obligations still need to be assessed and agreed.

The market basket defines the reference, not your allocation. A future balance converts into qualifying models at the prices prevailing when you consume it.

The longer-term vision

Begin With Transactions.
Build the Common Basis.

Standard Basis is the company. CCBT is the general denomination. A Standard CCBT token index is an implementation for a defined market. Brokerage is the initial commercial application.

01

Brokerage

Match structured demand with qualifying supply.

02

Market evidence

Distinguish requests, quotes, and completed transactions.

03

Reference indices

Develop maintained, transparent denomination bases.

04

Contracts

Standardize repeatable commercial commitments.

05

Broader markets

Explore data, risk transfer, and secondary liquidity.

Activity can strengthen the reference.

Standardized requests, provider quotes, and completed transactions offer different evidence about demand, supply, and executable economics. Better references can then make the next transaction easier to compare.

Marketplace evidence is an input to an index—not a substitute for representative coverage, clear methodology, or independent governance.

A sequence, not a forecast.

Brokerage, software, contract administration, market data, and index licensing are potential business layers. Each depends on real demand and appropriate permissions.

Financing, risk-taking, and regulated financial products would be later and materially different activities. They are not prerequisites for the initial service.

Market dependencies and information handling

Buyers must value the comparison; providers must be willing to quote and make credible commitments. Data must support the market represented. Service terms, settlement, credit, and default must be explicit. Brokerage incentives and benchmark administration require deliberate governance and jurisdiction-specific legal review.

Initial inquiries should contain only a high-level description. Access, confidentiality, and any broader use of commercial requirements or provider pricing should be agreed before detailed information is shared. This website does not automatically add inquiries to a benchmark.
